Growing every day

Liam went to the doctor this week on account of his baby acne. Poor kid, it's all over his face. Did you know that baby boys often get acne around the 1-2 month mark because the estrogen that was in their bodies during gestation is on its way out? Our pediatrician is so knowledgeable and such a good fit for us, the crazy question-asking parents. Anyway, he got weighed at the doctor's office and weighed in 13 pounds, 4 ounces! He's gained 3 pounds in the last 3 weeks! My questions about "is he getting enough breast milk?" have certainly been answered. Liam has also started smiling and giggling, but capturing this on film has proven to be nearly impossible, as you can see. Here are a couple of new pictures of our robust (to use our pediatrician's lingo) young son...
