I did this for myself, but it wasn't that exciting, except for the 74% match with Christie Brinkley and the 64% match with Chow Yun Fat. Liam's was much more interesting. I especially like Allen Iverson (maybe he will be a basketball player, after all!) and Susan Sarandon, who Mark and I both think is super hot--we actually talked about her on our first date. And who would have thought, five years later, we created a Susan Sarandon look-a-like? Aww, how cute. And yes, you are correct, that is Katie Holmes.

An empathetic child

No pictures to illustrate this (charger still MIA...), but Liam has developed a cute new quirk. When I pick him up when he's upset, or even just to cuddle, I've always patted his back. Now he has started patting me back. Yesterday he face planted into the coffee table while attempting to walk, and he cried for nearly twenty minutes, the whole time patting my back while I rubbed his. So cute.

Uh-oh

My sister keeps reminding me that it's been a long time since my last post...and it has. We just realized a few days ago (when the camera died) that in the chaos of moving into a new home, we have misplaced our camera charger. Which means we can't upload photos. While that excuse doesn't cover 30 or so days of my stale blog, it should keep me out of trouble for the last ten.

What's new with Liam? He's really in to peek-a-boo, he's understanding lots of words, and he's saying "Uh-oh". Mark and I were just commenting on how much he has progressed in the last week. Yesterday, I was looking at the grocery sale circular, and he was staring at the produce page. I asked him to point out apples, watermelon, etc., and he did! He pretty much understands what we say now...which means we have to start watching what we say! Like most parents/toddlers, I'm sure he's on par developmentally, but he's a genius to us.
